Understanding Power Units
Power is the rate at which energy is transferred or converted. Different industries use different units to express power. This converter bridges the gap between electrical, mechanical, and thermal measurements.
Watts (W) & Kilowatts (kW)
The standard unit of power in the International System of Units (SI). It is commonly used for electrical appliances.
