About IP Address Lookup
An IP Address (Internet Protocol Address) is a unique label assigned to each device connected to a computer network that uses the Internet Protocol for communication. This tool allows you to perform a Geolocation IP Lookup to find out approximate location, Internet Service Provider (ISP), and other technical details.
What information can I see?
- Geolocation: The approximate city, region, and country associated with the IP block.
- ISP (Internet Service Provider): The company or organization that owns the IP range (e.g., Comcast, Google, AWS).
- Timezone: The local time zone of the IP location.
- ASN (Autonomous System Number): The unique number assigned to a network operator for routing.
IPv4 vs IPv6
This tool supports both standards. IPv4 is the older 32-bit address format (e.g., 192.168.1.1). IPv6 is the newer 128-bit format designed to replace IPv4 due to address exhaustion (e.g., 2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334).
Privacy & Accuracy
Please note that IP Geolocation is not GPS-accurate. It identifies the location of the ISP's node or the registered address of the organization, which might be a city or region away from the actual user. For privacy reasons, we do not store or track the IP addresses searched on this page.
